We will be based in the beautiful Ilam Park National Trust Estate, located about 10 mins north of the Peak District market town of Ashbourne. This is a great location for a workshop with plenty space to explore and we can walk straight out of our studio base to be in the stunning grounds of Ilam Park.

It’s an extremely varied landscape with open views, river, weirs and interesting architecture. In addition we are right next to Dovedale, a spectacular ravine cut by the river Dove.

• 3 days of sketching and painting tuition with drawing, acrylic painting & collage.

ABOUT LEWIS NOBLE'S PAINTING WORKSHOPS

Inspirational workshops including drawing and sketching out in the landscape, followed by studio work. These short courses are suitable for all abilities and are designed to provide a solid working practice that will help you to develop as an artist.
The idea is to give you a structure to work with, rather than teach any particular technique.
During three days of highly productive and creative work, students often surprise themselves by finishing with a sketchbook full of imaginative and stimulating visual ideas.
